Wes served on the state board as a director from the southwest part of our state for over 18 years. In addition he served the Kalamazoo Area Youth as a Vice President and Director. He also served as their Tournament Director.

On the state board, he served on many committees among them Finance, Promotion, Recognition Programs, Training and of course the State Tournament - an event he annually assisted with.

He was inducted into the Kalamazoo Area Hall of Fame in 2002.

His dedication to the youth bowlers of our state was felt by many in the multiple events in which he had a part and he will be sorely missed.
